Valentine’s Day causes us to reflect on what we have loved most about our business… I’ll be honest; there has been a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved in doing in business in Africa for two whole decades. When we started out as a small, entrepreneurial business – we were eager to become an African Media Powerhouse and it has taken hard work and at times it was truly a labour of love to build Alliance Media into the billboard and airport advertising leader that it is today. A 20 year milestone can cause you to stop and look at what it is that keeps Alliance Media striving; to question where exactly does our passion lie and what makes us want to do more of what we do best. It’s no secret that Alliance Media has been built on strong relationships. Relationships with our partners, clients and media agencies have not only been key to our success, but pivotal. The number one reason that we strive to do better business in Africa is because we love seeing your brands reach new heights. If your brands are strong, we know that our objective to grow our client’s brands has been achieved. That brings me to the second thing we love at Alliance Media – achievement. Alliance Media started in 1997 with the foresight to grow and invest in dedicated local teams in each of our countries of operation. We continuously achieve our goals and then we move the goal posts to keep striving. Our teams keep winning top accolades in their relevant countries. We ended last year by winning the Superbrands East Africa Award and we have started 2017 with a PMR Diamond Award for Botswana. So keep watching this space!
