Alliance Media installs first Road Arches in Botswana

Alliance Media has recently installed the first of a number of Road Arches in Botswana’s capital city, Gaborone. The structures are the country’s largest billboards and complement the company’s 5×20 structures that are currently in Botswana. The first Road Arches were installed for Orange, an international cellular operator, operating in Botswana. Greg Benatar, Regional Director of Alliance Media said, “Orange wanted something big and different, and being pioneers in African Outdoor, we gave them these new formats which have added to the growing Gaborone skyline. Both the campaign and the structures have been exceptionally well received and have had a huge impact on the market.” Alliance Media Botswana has operated in Botswana for the past nine years and boasts more media structures in the country than any other outdoor media owner. Over time, the company has built up a national holding of Billboards, Maxilites, Bus Shelters, Street Finders and Suburb Signs. In addition, Alliance Media Botswana holds the exclusive rights to airport advertising at Gaborone’s Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, as well as the exclusive rights to advertising in the National Sports Stadium.
